Day 5 days/ 4 nights Arusha, Ngorongoro, Serengeti.
Pick up at Kilimanjaro international airport or any accommodation in Moshi, morning hours around 8am. Drive for one hour and a half an hour to Arusha national park. Arriving at the entrance gate and start your first game drive enroute to your lodge arriving at 1:00 hrs for checking in and lunch. Relax till 16:00 hrs then start your afternoon game drive till 18:30 hrs. Back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Arusha national park features Mt. Meru.
It is the second highest mountain in Tanzania after Mt.Kilimanjaro. They are just 70 kilometres apart.
It is a prominent volcano destination which is 14978 feet (43 mi). above sea level. The park is small and has spectacular landscape in three areas:
1. In the west the Meru crater poors water in Jekumia river.
2. South-East is Ngurdoto crater which is grassland.
3. North-East is the shallow alkaline lake Momella inhibited by wading birds and other species. It is home to giraffe,Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black and white Columbus monkeys, the blue monkey, flamingo, elephant,bush buck and many other animals.
It is home to over 400 bird species.Migratory birds and some endangered species.

ALTITUDE: 4566 metres (14383 feets) above sea level.
CLIMATE:
April to September 20° to 25 ° Celsius.
October to March an average of 28° Celsius.
Day 2
Wake up at 5:30 hrs for coffee and start your early game drive. Take photos of the magnificent Mt.Meru before the clouds take cover. Spot variety of wildlife. Back to the lodge at 8:00 hrs for breakfast. Check out and make your last game drive enroute to the gate.
Drive to Ngorongoro conservation.
Drive for (179 km) three and a half an hour with stop over on the way.
Arrive at Ngorongoro conservation area entrance gate and start your first game drive enroute to your lodge arriving at the lodge at 14:00 hrs for checking in and lunch. Relax till 16:00hrs. Enjoy your afternoon game drive till 18:30 hrs. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
NGORONGORO
It is a vast highland plains, Savannah, Savannah woodlands and forests. It was established in 1959 as a multiple land use area with wildlife coexisting with semi- normadic Maasai pastoralists. It has the world’s largest Caldera and Olduvai George “the cradle of mankind”, a 14 kilometres long deep ravine .
Wildlife include: Black rhino, white rhino, black – backed and golden jackal, spotted hyenas, Wildebeest, buffalo, the big cats,” lion, leopard, cheetah.
AREA/ SIZE : 809440 ha
ALTITUDE: 2000 feet ( 610 metres ) above the caldera flow.
7500 feet ( 2286 metres ) above sea level.
CLIMATE: Mild temperature. Warm daytime and cooler nights.
Day 3
Wake up at 5:30 hrs for coffee and start your early game drive. Stand a chance to spot most of the animals as they come out of the bush to enjoy the sun heat.
Back to the lodge at 8:00 hrs for breakfast and check out. Make your last game drive enroute to the gate.
Drive for (112 km) 2 hrs to Serengeti national park, arrive at the entrance gate and start your first game drive enroute to your lodge arriving at the lodge at 13:00 hrs for checking in and lunch. Relax till 16:00 hrs then make your evening game drive till 18:30 hrs. Back to your luxurious lodge for dinner and overnight.
“SERENGETI” is a Maasai word meaning “Endless plains”. The region hosts the largest “magical” mammal migration in the world. It is a popular safari destination. The landscape is both grassland and woodland Savannah. The grasslands are dotted with trees. The woodlands are dominantly acacia woodlands and Terminalia woodlands. Grasslands include, riverine, plains and derived grasslands. It is a paradise for Wildebeests! Many other species also roam the land such as the big cats, “lion, leopard and cheetah”.
Other animals include zebra, gazelle, buffalo, hyena, giraffe and many more.
The Serengeti migration involves over 750,000 zebras and over 1.2 million Wildebeests.
AREA/ SIZE: 12,000 square miles ( 30,000 square kilometres ).
ALTITUDE: 3,020 feets to 6,070 feets ( 920 metres to 1850 metres ) above sea level.
CLIMATE: Hot weather during daytime and cooler nights.
Day 4
Wake up at 7am for breakfast. Carry your packed “picnic” lunch. R
Enjoy the whole day making game drives, spending most of the time at the mara and grumeti rivers for the epic wildebeest migration.
Back to the lodge luxurious lodge at 18:00 hrs for dinner and overnight.
Day 5
Wake up at 6:00 hrs for breakfast and check out. Enjoy your last game drive enroute to the gate.
Drive for 5 hrs back to Kilimanjaro international airport or destination of your choice.
